Hi guys. I just got my Hitec 625MG steering servo (slightly used, fro eBay) and connected to the receiver, which comes with NTC3 RTR.
Now when I turn steering servo the throttle servo moves (shifting) too.

What can be wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Igor

Check 2 make sure u didnt cross your wires.

lamens terms:

pull out both steering and throttle servos on your reciever. Then switch them. Then try again. Torque was correct in his post just not direct enough

No they are on correct channels.
The servo look like very sensitive. When I touch it gitters.

Here are 3 things to check:

---Check to see if any metal pieces are touching the servo case
---Check the servo wire to see if it is crimped or possibly picking up intereference from other wires such as the throttle servo wire.
---Check to see if your antenna wire is touching your servo.

I actually drilled a small hole in the side of the receiver box so I could run the antenna out the side of the box and then up the tube to avoid contact w/ the servo. The NTC3 set-up manual actually shows the antenna wire going under the servo and up the tube. If you are set-up like this then this could be your culprit. The servo may simply be picking up intereference.

Let us know what you find.

Also, make sure you have fresh batteries.

Iwas planning to do the same. Thanks.

Will do. Thanks.

This what I found using google. The guy from helicopter group. Wrote on 2001-09-06:

I have been using a Hitec 645MG high torque but not fast servo on my
1/8 car. I found it interfere with the other servo which is standard
servo, if I try to move stick. However, I move the other stick there
is not any problem at all. I guessed that because the 645MG interfere
with receiver cause the problem. So, I disassemble the Hitec servo and
add a small capacitor across the servo motor and add a capacitor on
the power wire inside the servo. And also, I add a capacitor to a
receiver power wire that would give the receiver a regular power
against the peak power required by servo start to move and stop. After
all jobs done, all problems are solved. That is my experience.
