Nova Shock towers

I was wondering if there were any out there that have used the Nova shock towers. I am looking for something with more holes to change the suspension around some and to be able to raise or lower it, and seems most towers only have 3 or 4 holes that give a hair of adjustment.

hi, i have never tryed the nova shock towers or any multiple towers on my savage. if your looking to lower your savage abit more than a hair or two you could try doing the fuel tube in the shafts trick. this is the link to it http://www.savage-central.com/ftopic19555.html+heighth+height i have just done this but havent run it yet as i am breaking my 2nd engine in. just be carefull of the size of the tubing you put in it. depends on how you use your savage. if you bash then put shorter tubing in if you use it for road then make the tubing longer. everything looks cool though.

Click the search link, place the string "nova towers" in the search field, then select the HPI Savage Talk from the forum listing and hit the seach button. You will get a few threads that talk about that tower and some set ups to use with it.

Thanks for the info. I am in Nothern Virginia, about 20 miles South-West of Washington.
I race asphalt road only not a basher and have done the limiter thing to all of my T-Maxx trucks I race, but have also added a shock tower by Gorilla-Maxx, which is made for the electric trucks, but gives a great amount of options for where you put the shocks and have found that it REALLY makes a big difference on how things handle without having to tie wrap the truck down.

i have new era one and they are great!!!they have multi postion holes and are built tough!!

I have the Novas. I'm not a racer, but got a good deal on a race-setup Savage from this board.

Even on a basher, these shock towers have held up well, and they allow the use of buggy shocks, as well as even your favorite T-maxx shocks (I used to have a 'Maxx, so I have favorite T-maxx shocks). I've done a decent amount of damage with this truck already (!!!) and the shock towers have held up very well.

Thanks Chris, I have both Ofna Buggy shocks and Associated T-Maxx shocks I could use on them. I am looking for something to race on-road with and just thought it would give me more options for positions over the stock towers and found that most of my trucks seem to handle better with the shocks laid down in the rear, and more straight up in the fronts, like the touring cars I race. Hope to find out in the next few weeks after getting all together and putting the kit in action.
