I just ordered a set of Nova adjustable clutch shoes. I will be using them on my S-25 (peak hp @29,000 rpm) and I will be using Mugen 1mm springs I beleive; so, how many, if any, of the little weights should I use?

EDIT: I will be using Mugen 1mm springs, not the 1.1's like I originally said.

sweet, you got some nice shoes, I'm thinkin of the adjustable HPI ones. with those springs you could try no weight or least amount. or you could try all the set ups and see which ones you like best, but that would be a lot of work.

let us know how they run!!

Ya, I scored a sweet deal on ebay for those and an al. antenna mount and antenna for $12.50 total, including shipping, so I'm happy :D I'll be even happier once, and if I get them...

I installed the mugen aluminum shoes wih the 1mm springs. Damn shoes bite hard.

i heard some of the guys dont even use the weights. the weights make it hook up later. less weight faster hook-up.

Well, I finally got them installed and didn't use any weights, and I must say I'm impressed, a lot easier to wheelie, lol. But I didn't really get past 20mph or so before my spur stripped, :( But I have a spare so o, well...
