When I remove the air filter, should there be a fine mist of fuel when I turn the engine over?
Because truck tries to fire then nothing. So i'm thinking that maybe there is no fuel getting through. Carby is set at 1mm, but I have messed about with the LSN and HSN. Its a Vertex 16

If anyone has any suggestions as to why, it would be most grateful.

I'm new to this as well but I had a super old traxxas stampede nitro of my grandpas that never wanted to start. I found if I held my thumb over top where the air filter was and started it I found it usually started. It pulls more fuel making sure the fuel gets there. Some times I had to quickly rev it once it started so it could get its normal mixture back. I'm not sure if you are supposed to see the mist or not To me it would make sense that you would be able to but not sure. Try that, if it doesn't work then it was worth a try right?

if you are unable to prime it there could be and air leak. make sure all bolts are tight that your gaskets arent torn apart or missing. also Make sure there are no obvious blockages in your lines.

*replacing the glow plug might not be a bad idea, start fresh.

tkae the hsn needle and set it back to default turn it all the way leen the richen 4 turns (not while running) and that will set it back what ignitor do you have? and make sure your glow plug is good

No 8 glow plug new
BSDRacing 2100 igniter

ok I set the needles to factory settings and got my truck running again. Still needs a bit of tuning but my concern is now that the front wheels are running in reverse. Its a 4wd but one of my dog bones is missing at the rear, would this be a cause?
The truck was fine when I managed to get it started when I first bought it so nothing is put in the wrong way round.
