I can't seem to get my revo to fire. It doesn't seem like its getting fuel. I have recently replace the reciver, cooling fin head and shock parts due to a crash. Need Help!:flaming:

try priming it first . put ou r fingerr over the exgaust and turn the engine and watch for the fuel to go through the lines , once it hits the carb stop and put on you rglow ignitor. then give it a try, let us know what happenes

I have tried to prime it but it doesn't seem to be pulling any fuel through.
It has the elecric start and dual pipes.

do you still have a pressure line hooked up from the exhaust to the tank, are plugging the 2 holes on the dual pioe,m you might not have enough back pressure, anybody have any ideas?

re

The hose from the tank to the exhaust is hooked up. I feel the pressure from the engine when i plug the pipes but nothing flows through the line.

Is your HSN screwed all the way down? Is your LSN screwed all the way in? Both of those act like valves for all instensive purposes. If they are screwed all the way in, they seal the fuels path into the engine.

If those aren't screwed all the way in, disconnect the fuel line from the engine and try to prime just to see if you get fuel flow from the pressure in the pipe when it's plugged with your fingers. You might have a plugged line or something.

re

I un hooked the line from the engine and it started to fill the hose with fuel. Now I tried turning the tp screw and the little screw below i and it wasn't helping any. I think I'm on the right track but still not working.

Do you have a flooded engine? I had a similar problem with starting, when you remove the glow plug, does the engine turn when you plug in the starter?

re

Something is blocking the fuel from entering the carb. It sucks fuel when the hose is not connected to the carb.

This happened on my RS4, I had my needle down too tight.. You should try opening it a little more or even pop it out and look down the carb and prime to see if any fuel is getting in there.

I dont think your part is defective..

Have you popped the glow plug??? you may have it vapor locked.......so take the plug out and turn it over a few times.....then replace the plug and the fuel line and give it a tray..........just guessing here...but I know how it feels to be frustrated with nothing to try......;)

i tried priming it without what I'm guesing was the mixing screw and it pulled fuel throgh. When i lossend the smaller screw below it it didnt do anything. I just tryed changing plugs and it didnt do anything for me.

I had this problem recently, it turned out the o ring on my fuel tank cap was pinched and there wasn't an airtight seal. Check that and also make sure your tank isnt split where the top and bottom join together.
