RC Driving Style
Last night i took my buggy out to check engine temps now that i had a temp gun. After warming the engine up i ran it up and down the car park and then took the temp. i then went for another run up the car park when i noticed it wasn't able to get any traction. i just thought it was because the tyres were a little bold and the car park was dusty but on closer inspection the rear wheels weren't spinning - all the drive was going through the front wheels and thats why it wasn't able to get any traction.

I have a Thunder tiger EB4 and was wondering if any body knew what could be causing this problem, could it be a problem with the rear diff?

ti could be that one of your drive cups in the rear either off the center diff(transmission) or on the rear diff could have lost its screw. There is usually a set screw that screws the drive cup onto the output shaft (tranny) or inputshaft (rear diff) I've had that happen to me before, its not a big deal just check it out.

Yeh, it could even be as simple as a dog bone coming out. Happened to me heapes of times! Have you been doing alot of doeys? Coz if you have the diff is probably nice and smooth(insted of having teeth on the gears). Prob;y just a dogbone tho...

i'm still tuning the engine but i always end up doing donuts, from what you said its highly propable that the diff is smooth. i've had the car just over three weeks so i hope i haven't smoothened out the diff but i'll get the manual out and find the dogbones.

Cheers
