@johnnydmd has a very in depth thread for his fully custom nitro drag slashes (yeah he’s a legend and has built 2)
I’m currently working on my Nitro Drag Slash build. It’s not as custom as Johnny’s and pretty bare bones ATM. Hopefully will get it finished up and in the tuning stages in the coming weeks.
Planning on live streaming some of my build on My YouTube Channel tonight 5:30pm CDT. Hoping to get the wheelie bar and engine mounted. You can see my past 2 streams where I’ve been slowly wrenching on it. Stop by and feel free to ask any questions!
So far the only parts I’ve really needed are drag slash 0 degree arms (mounted upsidedown right on left and left on right b/c of shock placement), rear camber links, drive shafts (I just trimmed the stock ones 5/8”), and the proline body mounts. You’ll also need to custom fabricate a wheelie bar bracket. It’s pretty straight forward to get the look. The biggest thing holding it back is the transmission though.
