has anyone ever ordered anyhting from nitrohouse and if so how was it good stuff and did you get it in a timely maner or should i not order from them

I've order from them pretty often and they are reliable. They email you with the tracking number with the approx. arrival date.

I have ordered from them several times with no problems.

I ordered from them one time and I will place another order in the future. The one thing I didn't dig is that when I personally placed my order (don't know if anyone else expereinced this or not) they sent no sort of confirmation email with a tracking number to let me know my package had shipped. I still received it in a timely fashion though.

BTW and FYI nitro house is the retail face of ofna. just like tower is really an arm of great planes. you get to buy factory direct.

just posting case any on wanted to/ needed to know.

I've placed an order there for my PCR but they ended up sending me an email about 2-3 days later to tell me they didn't have any in stock so I've never completed an order with them.

They did however sound like pretty cool guys when I talked to them on the phone.

Maybe u didn't notice the email. They have Fed-ex & UPS send ya the email with the tracking number.

can't help it.. the TRUTH is always the TRUTH.
I had a little inside info...... thought i might pass it on.

Inside information is one thing, common knowledge another. Thanks for the post though. It was nice to see you posting somewhere other than a thread that focused on bashing you.

smoe people have access to differenet info and some don't.... it's always nice to share even if one person gets enriched.

feels good to post in a neutral setting as well. some info you might not know , about 20% of their stuff on the site is about $5 above dealer cost.

some of the items are quality items too. it's sort of a sore spot amoungst dealers cause it blows alot of deals.

I ordered from them last Monday and received my parts Wednesday morning.
The parts I ordered were some obscure Mugen parts that no one else had in stock.

I Googled
I CALLED
I placed my internet order.
I received it quickly
I'm Happy.

That's why you use GP for everything you can while making them the last place you order from, getting just the stuff no one else has in stock at the moment.

see wardo know s the drill!!!! lol

that's they way you do it. the only bad thing ( well bad dealer wise) is that some of nitro houses for sale to the public items are right above cost. Especially fo rthe small shops, they kills them on ofna cause no one wants to pay even net pricing when nitro house has it dirt cheap.

but ofna is smart.... they only do that with a small part of the inventory. that way they still keep the dealers in business and grab part of the retail market too.

all while being a supplier too.... damn smart

hobbypeople.net and tower have sweet deals going. since they are both their own distributors ( global and GP) they are making a KILLING when they sell almost any item. That's the set up to be in..... retail outlet and a distributorship.

This is becoming common practice in most markets not just RC parts. For MANY years I have direct imported products as a distributor. 3-4 years ago I opened a separate division to sell direct to the public. The main part of my business is still supplying smaller resellers and internet companies with my products as well as drop-shipping for them. I keep my retail priced just enough over wholesale to keep the dealers happy. Its nice to be able to dictate both the wholesale and retail prices of an entire market. When done properly everyone wins

I looked at that post somewhere here saying someone purchased a Kanai 3 for $750 from tower. I'm thinking, holey F, what a killing they make on alot of cars and parts, they really are not all that cheap.

I agree. tower goes on mostly reputation. Although, I know of more than a fair share of tower hobbies haters...lol

it's all good though... they make the mark the majority of the time. Price wise they are ok, but man the make bank like you would not believe! even when they have a sale... they still clean up way more than the dealers....

Team 17 I ordered a Black low speed needle for my picco 26 as they are the only one's that have it. Well I placed my order on Wednesday and with no email's only the email receipt saying your order will ship shortly. That's it. Come Monday I called there and asked if it had left and they said it should be there today or tomorrow. I paid for 2nd day air so it would get here quicker. It wound up showing up on Wednesday. That is not so horrible in my book. Again I will order from them no problem. I would only be a little bummed they didn't send a tracking number or anything.

That's fine but do you justify your prices by telling me that I should make $7 on a $75 part, $15-20 on a $200 item? GP does that with Futaba, they show your price and then what you should sell it for (Towers actual price) and they expect me to be excited to sell a $100 item and make $10 tops on it.
