nitro two speed gears

two speed transmission help

I have a HobbyPro Hurricane Nitro RTR 1/10 scale on road rc car. The car has a 15cxp pull start, two speed transmission, my question is why does the two speed transmission spin when the car is at a idle. The tires do not move and when i give it more gas they still do not move. If i push on the gears the slam into gear, when i release the pressure it starts to spin like crazy again. Is the transmission shoot, is there some kind of adjustment on the two gears. When i pull start the engine all the wheels move,when it fires up the gears start spinning again thanks and please don't delete my post. Thanks for any help and have a great day.

hi I'm trey and have a question k i have a hobbypro hurricane 1/10th nitro four wheel drive on road car it has a pull star 15cxp engine and a two speed transmition k the question is when i star the car the gears i think should not be moving cause i have a buggy also whith the same set up and they dont move in idle k when i star the car the gears start to spend but no the wheels dont move give it gas the car doesn't move the engine seems fine its the gears its not catching the first gear to even get enough speed/rpm to even switch into second its like the gears are slipping on somthing i took it apart when i have the gears on the shaft one way it lock on to the shaft when i spin it the other way it spins freely this seems normal but i put it in the car and they just start spinning again i recently pushed alittle on the gear while it was moving slow it down then it slammed into gear let it go it starts to spin like i said i think the engine is fin this problem is with the two speed transmition help please

I really hate to see new members or any members for that fact get the boot. But when they start off by not taking the staffs advice well, which was given in a very helpful/polite way, trust me, its easily the best decision for the forum to send them on their way.

Its just common courtesy to type out your posts so that they are not a pain in the butt for other members to read. Staff as well as most other members here as well as most forums, will not even bother with posts that are one long run on sentence, so its a lose lose situation.

As long as you are polite and listen to warnings given by the mods, you won't have any problems. It also looks you can use punctuation so that people can understand what you're trying to say.

Every moderator on rcnt likes to have as much fun as the next person, but it's important to keep everything in context. A useful thread can get crapped up in a hurry, burying any useful information. You have no idea what I went through with that guy and he gave me sh!t on every turn.
He told me he was a grown man, but I doubt any adult would write like a 14 year old chat room kid.
He read this thread, so he already knew he was a goner without reading his last PM.

Shirley he did not call you Roger did he? You know guys, I saw the thread when he posted it and got a headache trying to read it; so I just went to the next one. If I can't read it....I can't help. It is simple as that. We have people from other countries that English is their second or even third language and they manage better than this guy does. Shame on him and this is why people make fun of Americans. It is disgraceful and down right pathetic. I am not going to say I am perfect but I do try and normally people can even understand what I write. If you ask for help then cop an attitude.....get bent and the Traxxas forum awaits you.

We find most of our ex-members there whining that they got kicked off for being stupid. We do have a great Staff here and they are very fair. Even "The Most Hated Mod" NCNitro is one hell of a good guy and is not what people make him out to be. I have never had a problem with any staff member here. Act like a normal well adjusted adult and no one would. They take care of us and we joke and play but when it comes down to it this is the best forum I have found and where I call home.

Some people just do not understand forums, their rules and regulations or the community that exists on them.
