How reliable are the glow plug starter? (probably wrong term)
I have trouble starting my rc the gauge on top was saying that my glow plug was in the red (bad) and so I went and bought a new glow plug haven't started it yet but its saying its bad also I have tried to recharge it and no luck. So could my glow plug already be bad or is this starter probably not working. I have barely used the thing also so either way it sucks

Glow Plugs sometimes are bad from the 1st use & just simply swapping for another plug does the trick. Make shure your starter is useable it sounds like your starter isent holding a charge " replace with new starter " to consider...

other thing's to check
.1 Is engine getting nitro IE cloged line / broken
.2 check glow plug is tiny coil wire glowing when starter hooked to it
.3 check HSN & LSN setting's Might be to lean or rich to allow proper start-up
.4 depending on your outside air-temps you might need to switch to Med / Cold / Hot glow plug

thanks my my glow starter was not holding a charge and my fuel was bad haha but thanks

You can always check the voltage on your glow ignitor after it starts reading bad.....if it truely is low and the ignitor isnt holding a charge then replace the battery. if you have a cheap one that you can't take the battery out of the buy a better one where the rechargable battery is able to be repalced. You may want to replace the battery that comes with it anyway. I pitched my 1800mah sub c that was in mine a put a 4600mah in it...freakin thing lasts forever now.

dont forget nitro has a plash point of 95 degrees F meaning its hard to lite. methanol 52 degrees not much better. gasoline -40 degrees starts good. you can use gas to start a fuel engine. but NOT in the fuel
