Hi,

Need some advice on which to get...the new Nitro Rush EVO or Rustler 2.5?

Gonna be used for a bit of fun mainly backyard bashing.!

Anyone had much experience with the new Rush EVO...its got a more powerful engine than the old one (according to HPI!)

What can take more of a beating?

Whats everyones thoughts?

thanks

Mark

I have heard that the Rustler 2.5 is a great car to just beat around in. Not a racer, but very durable. Rustler would probably be great for backyard bashing. The only bad thing that I've heard is of bad rear tire performance, but that can be fixed fairly inexpensivly.

I know a friend that has a rush evo and he really likes it. The only problem he's had is of odd parts breaking; shocks, ect. It is pretty fast though. I have a on road hpi and know that hpi makes great products...

But for your backyard bashing and durability issues, I would recommend the rustler 2.5.

I got a rustler 2.5 and its great!!! I dont race it but its great for bashing from what I can tell you because I havent raced it as I said. I do not own a HPI rush evo or ever driven one, but all I can tell you is that I love it! If you decide to go with the rustler www.rdracingproducts.com have great aluminum and carbon fiber parts for it. The first thing you will break is gonna be the rear shock tower.
