Nitro Problems :S

I pulled apart my nitro car to clean it as it was filthy as and i want to keep it looking nice and clean

i also put new gears in the gearbox removing the plastics and replacing them with (ally i think).

Now when i start my car with the wheels off the ground and i rev it the wheels dont really wanna roll. Then will spin once i rev it hard enough but then as soon as i stop the seem to stop rolling very quick.

It use to roll really well before i did this so any ideas what I've done wrong?

are the gears to close together that is all i can think off

how close should they be??
The cluth bell meets on both gears if that means anything?

Check the obvious things like the brakes first, maybe you got the linkage out of adjustment.

Yeah I'd check the brakes too. Sounds like you've got some heavy dragging going on.

sounds like brake drag or you set the spur and cb to tight.

how do i know when the brakes are right like when i can wiggle the plates or what??

Like i said I'm a noob at this haha

but so confused
