Ok so i am currently running torco 20% in my firestorm to me it seems like i get more power of of the torco 20 than traxxas top fuel 20 and not a big diff between torco 20 and traxxas top fuel 30 I've ran all three i know thats not the best for a motor but the trx 20 and 30 was given to me so i wanted to use it and i have 2 motors for my firestorm so i figures wth it doesn't matter that much just the diff tuning with each fuel. but my ? is between trx 20 and torco 20 which would yall say is better i dont race i just bash around the house. I can get trx fuel thru a hobbyshop thats like an hour away but i can get torco shipped to my house for a little cheaper once you factor in the drive to hobby shop. I know there are better fuels out there but I'm wanting to know which of the 2 are better for engine wear and overall power.

Was wandering about torco. Been seeing it on ebay a ton.
been running sidewinder and been havin lots of tune problems sincr I went to it

After running the three fuels and also i ran sidewinder in my t maxx when i first bought it bc the guy had 2 quarts of it that he gave to me with the maxx but imo i like the torco i think ima stick to it. i went with it in the first place bc it was the only fuel i could get shipped in a gallon and if you buy in bulk (4 gallons at a time) you can get it for like 105 bucks with free shipping. And plus torco is a very very well known name to race fuel for dragsters so i dont see y they would produce a poor quality product with a name as good as theirs. I've never had any tuning problems on torco or trx fuel tho the sidewinder i didnt really like when i compared it to the torco i felt like torco had a lil more giddy up

i have run torco and Vp fuels for quite some time and really like both of them !

Anyone heard of Magnum fuel? the local hobby shop carries it and was wondering if its any good.

Torco is the one. i get my 100% nitro from them. buy my methanol locally, from a speed shop.

I ran traxxas 20% in all of my nitro rigs and it gave my savage xl a tough time to start because the oil would get all over the owb and slip. I changed to pull start and also switched to byrons rtr 20% and I could not be happier. I think traxxas does make a quality fuel but is just too oily and messy for me. If and when I can't get ahold of byrons, torco will be next on the list.

I found the oily/messy bit to be true, too. I ran Traxxas 20% in mine, but the mess was ridiculous. Never got a chance to try another fuel.

There are so many different types of fuel out there. While I do not mind running Traxxas Top Fuel 33% it is also one of the highest oil content fuels on the market. This is on purpose to protect the high temp Traxxas engines.

I have run many over the years and they do not make it anymore but Trinity Monster HP 30% was my favorite for years. Next in line was Byrons Fuels then O"donnels I only bought one gallon of Sidewinder and my engines ran to hot no matter how much I richened the mixture.

This coming spring I am going to give Losi Nitrotane a try. While I can order fuel online my LHS these days only sells two blends. Losi NitroTane and Traxxas Top Fuel. This is because they only really sell two nitro R/Cs Losi and Traxxas. They picked the top of the line in Bashing Traxxas and for Racing Losi. I personally like Team Associated over Losi But Only My Opinion.

I am currently running Nitrotane and it is good running fuel. I don't like that it is clear/colorless and smokes less. It's takes more than quick glance to see if I'm close to empty so I can refuel without shutting it off.

I dumped the rest of my Traxxas Top Fuel into the gallon of NitroTane I bought so it has some color to it. That is what I did not like about Byrons and O'Donnel fuels because you cannot see it in a tank that is dirty or a colored fuel line. Personally I like fuels with a colored dye in them. But with colored dyes also puts deposits on the internals of the engine so I understand why some use a clear fuel.

I have noticed the revo does stay warmer and harder to tune since I
bought Sidewinder. But the guy I bought it from always ran his airplane fuel in it.

When i was running sidwinder in my tmaxx it ran much hotter than with torco and torco had more power seemed more responsive. Personally i would try other fuels just to see whats there but i like to keep my money in my pocket if i can and torco is the way to go on that for me lol I've also seen that many people race with torco and if people are gonna race with it and win races it torco is doing something right

I dont like sidewinder or traxxas fuel. I like Odonnell's and Byrons but Odonnells is what my LHS stocks and I'm used to running it so I guess Id say its my favorite. Every says that the Losi Nitrotane and Torco are also good fuels.
