Hi Guys and Gals,

After I finish using my nitro car I clean the fuel bottle (The one used to put in the fuel in the car) how do I get the water that is left over from the cleaning out of the bottle.

Thanks,
Jmacca

Anyone able to help me?

I mean its like the residue left in the bottle that is extremely hard to get out...

See if these pictures help, its the little water droples that i need to get out.

I might try the ole "hair dryer evaporation" trick, but don't get the bottle too hot. If you are in an area with a nice climate, just leave it outside for a day?

Ah ok. I'll try the hairdrier evaporation trick. Unfortunatly I live in a humid climate so just putting it outside doesn't work. It would be nice if I diddnt have to rinse it to begin with. LOL

I think what someone should make is an attachment to the fuel bottle so you don't need a mini fuel bottle to begin with.

Well firstly you could not do it as it isn't needed.:D
But you could put a little bit of fuel in it and shake it a bit, then drain it..

Nah, I've never heard of rinsing your fuel bottle with water. Why did you rinse it? My advice would be, go get another fuel bottle and don't put any water in it.

use deionized water. It will evaporate leaving no water spots.

Drop some rice in there. They'll absorb any leftover moisture.

Do not eat the rice afterwards :)

Also, check out this little trick I figured out:

I put a vacuum cap for an automobile carb. on the top of the pour spout - it fits tight, and won't let fuel spill out OR evaporate. I used a white one, but I'm not sure if they are coded by color / size. I might take a pic today.

ANOTHER hot thing I did: I used another rubber vacuum cap, and drilled a small hole in the tip, which allows me to prime the carb without dumping too much down the neck of the carb. I carry both tips, along with many other sizes, in my bash box :).

My words exactly !;)

i dont use fuel bottles. a top from one will fit on a quart of fuel..
