Wow you know that would be some kick ass effects but extremely dangourous. now I have yet to see and even with a quick google I couldn't find anything but NOS kits turbo charger type stuff. I would think it could be done with ssome killer inovation. I have known some of my local rodders to use this site. http://www.hotrodsetc.net/ for RL cars but nothing for scale. If you do find something let me know. That would be something to see.

Nitro burns clear, and is not that hot of a burn, i dont believe that it is explosive, like gas more like diesel, i dont think it is possible.

well a regular flame thrower on some thing like a old hotrod or whatever uses a system that does either turn off the ignition to certain cylinders so you can get unburned fuel into the pipe. other work with a gas injection system and few work with both. the reasion a funny car will flame is because its revin balls out and doesn't have time in the cylinders for the fuel to be completely burned/getting to much fuel. and the fact you have to be in a very dark room to even be able to see burning nitro. a gas system has potential to work but also a whole lot more potential for fail

a nitro funny car or top fuel push flames out the pipes cause nitro burns so slow, realy it hydrogen burning. cause of the chemical changes in side the engine. allso remember that methanol flames can't be seen in day lite.
