Anyone have one? I'm seriously considering getting one. The reviews I've read in the mags are great, but I'm looking for some real world experience. So, do anyone have a Titan, and if so how do you honestly like it?

I dont have one but I was reading Car and Driver and they loved it, gave it first place in a pickup shootout with the F-150, Silverado and one more, I forget what the 3rd was.

I also sat in one at the Philadelphia auto show and they were real nice.

Nissan is definetaly a good rig.
I'll ask around, my friend has a dealrship. See what the word on the street is.

I wish I would have known they were coming out. I would have held of on buiying my fullsize chevy. I'm a Nissan guy all the way. I had to give up my shortbox hardbody for my chevy, because they didn't havea full size Nisssan.

I think the Atlas is a bit too much for me. I'll keep my Frontier.

Yeah man, those Titans are just bad looking. I'm going to test drive one tomorrow. A dealership in SC is offereing 50% off of sticker price....so I don't know if I can pass that up! Right now I've got a Dodge Dakota with the V6.
Here's what I'm thinking:
-The Nissan has a V8.
-Even with the V8 it'll get better gas mileage than my truck.
-It's a Nissan, so it's going to last longer and be more reliable than any Dodge.
-It's a fullsize truck.

Geez, it sounds like my mind is already made up, huh. Well, maybe tomorrow I'll make up my mind....

We've now owned 4 brand new Nissan products and if they made a real full size truck, I'd own one of them also. Everything we've owned (Pathfinder, Xterra, 2 Maximas) have been awesome cars.

If you don't need a large truck, do not buy from the big 3, they all build a terrible product at this point.

GM, my buddy that's the service manager at a large Chevy dealer calls their trucks "Silverrecalls" Problems they see everyday range from brakes, blowing rearends, and alot of little poop. At one point they had 8 trucks sitting outside waiting for rearends.

Fords, I hate the new cheap interior and my 4wd F350 had 5 trannies in it inside 40K. Leave a bad taste, I know of 3 other trucks in my area that had at least one tranny in them inside of 50k.

Dodge, not sure about the brand new trucks but from the mid 90's until now they are pure trash. Spit CV joints out of the $WD one alot and I've seen 10 that do nothing more then highway towing trailers have shot everything in the frontend with 50K on them.

WTF?

SCREW WHO? Man I would love to place my money here in the US but Our companies need to start making Quality a serious issue to improve on as I have had chevy and ford and wasn't impressed with either. All my Imports have outlasted all my older cars. I just bought a Nissan Xterra last Sunday and I LOVE THAT SUV. The quality that people get through makes of Nissan, Honda, Toyota and Mitsubishi have a better chance on enduring normal wear. My cousin works at Chevy and he sees the trucks there being worked on for trannies going out all the time. We are talking 2002 and up. Don't get me wrong, I know that the Nissan Altima have had problems with their Engines going too. Put that up against the many issues FORD has been having and Chevy just recently. Dodge I have no comment as I never considered buying one.

My cousin will be buying The Nissan Titan and I will see what he says. I am sure He will let me take it for a spin.

Lol thepeople that always want to keep people buying junk just keep them from buying imports. Then everyone be at the shop waiting for their car to get worked on. Lol

if you want a V8 get a dodge with a cummins diesel.with the diesel you get better gass milage and diesle is cheaper the reg gas.even though i am 14 turning fifteen i have driven my dads 3500 cummins duelly 6 speed from my house to my uncles house who lives on the other half of our farm he live across the highway..and i have driven my dads gmc 3500 duelly auto. before he sold it.

WTF again! I can't beleive that a 14 year old is commenting about what cars to get as you have not driven any of them legally. Your opinion is based of only what you hear and read not experience. No offense man but it just seems that opions are considered fact. I thought you were lisenced and experienced. I myself only give my opinion based on experience. 14 turning 15..lol.

accully my friend has a titan and he hate it he said it is the worst investment he ghas ever made.HE said he wished he woudl of went with either a dodge gmc or chevy

really? what did he say about it?W WAIT! This is his and not his parents right? Lol.. I want some facts as well since my parents are considering the 4 door version. My xterra is great as my wife and son fit just fine for now.

yea it is his he is into rock crawling.Ok i just read a review for it and they put it up against a Hemi(bad choice)or course the titan will win.And plus from where i am from guys that buy trucks big fullsize duelly trucks that what u mostly see around here since my dad needs a duelly he calls the titan a sisy truck since i dont think i could haul a 8 foot salter in the bback of the trucks with a 8 foot blde on the front plus the salter being filled wiyth 1 ton of salt. And the salter itself is 900lbs.Plus he is a construction worker/welder and he hauls two welders, big ass torch tanks, about 10 latters daily.and a buch of extension cords, and the welders each way 800lbs.oo and i dont think the titan can haul a 8000 lb new holland skid steer

and when he wieghed the skid steer that was with out the bucket and with the bucket it wieghed close to 9000 lb,and when he hauls it he usaully carrys a lod of attachments so the whole wieght load of it is around 9,600

http://www.truckworld.com/Truck-Tests/04-4way/04-4way.html go here for the test

Ok you are comparing a dually to a Non-Dually. Two different categories. Of course the pay load expectancies are different. The Titan can load up a lot but 9600..no .. I have to agree with you on that.

RLMAO Never heard that one before!!!

LMAO dude trade it in!!! Get something better if you feel like that.

That's a long ass story as to why I can not. I am currently looking for a way to get rid of it somehow(cough stolen cough) I owe way too much money on it for me to just trade it in. I'd get screwed. Newayz back on topic haven't heard much about that truck but it does look very nice.
