I'm just going to run the yellow blown Chevy on the stampede, still waiting for body posts but all in all it's pretty much done....🤪🤔

got my body kit on and, yeah, I'm not done with it, who am I kidding, I ordered a full metal transmission and blue anodized turn buckles and steering parts, when i bought this roller it was bare so using what I had when I upgraded my redcat suspension I put the turn buckles from it on the stampede and they fit nicely along with other parts, when I did the body kit I put another bigger brushless motor and esc in and it wheelies at will, even at full speed 40mph with 2s and 26 tooth pinion but I know when I ad the 3s boost I will need that transmission, ( confessions of an rc addict), sorry to ramble.....

Lil'pete rips on the 3slipo it's a whole different machine, especially with a good wheelie bar, I think i went through a tube of super glue to keep all the screws tight, i like to use super glue because, of course it keeps the screws tight but once you break that bond with a quarter turn it's free and easy all the way out, unlike thread locker or lock tight, where you fight it all the way out or strip the head off, anyway, it rips🤪 and i have to learn to drive it all over again to keep it on the track, I'm thinking of adding weight to the front or mid,( I'm up for any suggestions on the weight distribution?) thanks.

You could get a mid-motor conversion kit for it and turn it into a whole new animal. Be warned, It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. Link: https://www.chuckworksrc.com/chassis-indigo/p/swell-rope-bowl-cyy25

I would get all the correct parts, high-quality ones, and I would stay away from the eBay and Amazon parts. It would be spendy, but you would have an indestructible truck.

wow! that's pretty cool, thanks for that awesome information again, I better stick with what traxxas did with the rear mount and maybe add a little weight forward to the front axle for now but later on its a very possible conversion. speaking of your excellent advice and a totally different beast you've helped with, my revo motor mount will be here tomorrow for Roy, then I'll scrape a few coins together and get that bad boy hw 8bl, I'm getting stoked up!! thanks again 😁😁

Yeah, on Roy, that's where I'll be till it's smoking 🚬 the tires bald! motor mount will be here tomorrow.
 
Little Pete's got new tires that hook up but now we got the spur gear blues,
I've got a hardened spur gear on the way for Pete, the fisher price plastic couldn't take 3s combined with a bit more tire🤪
Eventually I'll be able to drain that damn battery but 3s keeps beating us, that's okay, we'll keep getting stronger 💪

I had the same problem with my spurs. I run traxxas plastic 32p and Robinson racing hardened 3wp pinion. Did this in 2010 and never went back.

Nice looking monster you got. Digging your tires alot.

SAME STORY, different truck!
I also added hardened steel spur and pinion, and again we we're rippin' it, gettin' squirly and riddin' high on adrenaline determined to wear down a 3s battery which i have yet to do, so anyways, Pete's gettin side ways at full throttle came back on and over the wheelie bar, cartwheeled into a power pole and cut the cab in half, landed back on its wheels and I thought well, no sense stopping now and pinned it fullthrottle started ridding a nice wheelie and burned the motor out out of it with a nice smoke show, so I'm down 2 truck's do to my ignorance, just love gettin sideways😜but I think it's time 2 slow down, waxem' putem on the shelf!😒😒😒😒😒
