I'm an addict, this is my last roller purchase but not my last build, I still have the mighty REVO, that's a big dude, making others look small, but for now I've had parts roll in for pete'e, so I'll work here for a bit, thanks for putting up with me, this wonderful website and a gracious forum it is great therapy for me, and my disabilities, ptsd, rheumatoid arthritis, and truematic brain injury quit a while back, but what I'm trying to say is this, right here keeps my mind right and helps all around, thanks again.

Both the Stampede 2wd and 4wd are awesome rigs. I have both and the wife usually drives the 2wd.
Honestly I think the 2wd is more fun than the 4wd.
Glad this forum is good for your health. I agree, it's kept me from blowing my top on several occasions.
Funny how everything else usually pisses me off but RC cools me down.
Just being around all these ex-convicts "I lean more toward goofy bastards" is good therapy. :D

amen brother 🙏

Agreed, this place has gotten me through some difficult times. Great hobby and great company. As for putting up with you...hmmmm we'll see. 🤣

RC is more of a therapy for me as well. I'm in a similar boat. I spent my entire life tinkering on one thing or another. And now being disabled and very limited on the time I can spend at the bench I have noticed the days I am able to wrench on something my mood is better, and I even feel better physically. The days I can't sit at my workbench, like the past 4 days, the forum keeps my mind from going insane.

Will be watching this one. And I can understand @Tunedfrog what you mean about the 2wd being more fun. We have driven our Gravedigger one time, because it is like in pristine condition. But that one time was enough for me to see how fun the truck is. I can't understand it. It's slow, and kinda clunky. But just a blast to drive because it will ride a wheelie with ease. I can't imagine the 4wd version drives the same.

I need to start garhering parts to build one we can actually play with.

I had to borrow a steering servo from the revo for Pete', (the size difference is staggering!) from the 1/10 scale stampede to the 7th or 8th scale REVO with 3/4 inch axles and 6" tall by 3.75 wide tires 😳 amazing.
can you guys tell me the actual scale of the 2.5 nitro revo?, sorry to get side tracked on Pete', but I just needed the revo servo, 😊

Revo 3.3 was 1/8th scale. 🤷‍♀️
Theres been other posts about this too.
The sizes of some rc just don't match up with others like they should.
1/10 scale buggy and SCT are a common and clear example of this. 👍

I think they are technically classed as 1/10 as the OG 6s Erevo 1.0 was classified as 1/10. It's the same as the Maxx. It's also classified as 1/10, but in reality, it's closer to 1/9. For the Revo and E-revo, they are far and above any sized "1/10" car. They have the same dimensions as 1/8 cars. I think, IMO, that Traxxas classified them as that so that they would have the size, power, speed, and weight advantage over other brands in the 1/10 nitro monster truck racing classes. Idk though. It's just a guess.

sounds 👍 good, it's really laughable to think of 2.5 revo a 1/10 scale when their 6in tire almost covers the cab on a 1/10 scale stampede.

like you stated they underscore the revo for political reasons, I guess that's like saying the 427 sohc ford was 385 or 425 hp when closer to 600 or LS6 454 or 426 hemi ..

i don't know much about the tmax other than they look cool are they close in scale, in size?
I know very little about it so no clue if it is.
My sister found it in a eviction she cleaned and gave it to me.
I did strip it and clean everything and it actually fired the first time with a pull rope and not the starter wand.
I've yet to take it out and run it, that was several years ago and I've robbed parts from it.
I'm just not a nitro guy but I'll replace what's missing and get it running again.

Rodger that, I've had the revo over 20yrs and probably only ran a gallon of fuel through it, it probably sat 10 yrs, i got lazy and tired of making sure the battery's we good, yes it had the ez start and after a while I couldn't get it to start, so it sat but after joining here I've found the the start want didn't always work,
that's the only problem I ever had with it, I love that's it's built very well with parts that exceed the need of nitro, I will build it brushless someday, anybody want the 2.5 ans accessories? I'm a parts trader....

If you convert it to electric, I'm your guy for questions. I've owned over 4 Revo 3.3 and 2.5s and converted them all to brushless.
