Next door neighbour nearly broke my condor buggy.

My next door neighbour never really complained about me playing with nitro buggys outside my house but he nearly broke it two days ago. Luckily I wasn't using my Kryptonite but my old condor that I haven't used in a while. Any way long story short my neighbour put fishing line all over my back yard so it was all tangled into my wheels. And to top it all off he dug a massive whole, filled with water, in the grass which I though was shallow but actually it was deep. So ended up fishing my car out and spent the next 3 hours cleaning the whole buggy with nitro fuel. Not really mad at him but he could have just told me not to play in MY OWN yard. I wouldn't have minded. Anyway it's all up and running again. The steering servo is the only thing that suffered. When I turned it on it would move and jitter on it's own. Took it all apart and used a hair-dryer on it. Seems ok but I might just put some new servo's in just incase.

Am i right in thinking that you have rights to sue over vandalism and tresspassing? He cannot do that to your things. I say you should break into his house and break something. When he complains you just say he did the same to you

I should have said nearly broke my engine
But only have pics when I was cleaning it. Still doesn't run right. There was water all in the engine with lots of mud. So I didn't wanna risk running it till it was all properly dismantled and cleaned with nitro fuel.

Mud all over here. Think this is after I cleaned it.

After all the cleaning I couldn't get compression so the only method I could think of at the time was flooding the engine and giving a few soft pulls in the pull start. Fuel came out from just under the heatsink/header. So had to tighten all the screws even more. Now it starts but idle is threw the roof. So all needs to be setup again.

Wish I could. I'm just to calm for that sought of thing. But what annoyed me the most was it was MY yard and he didn't complain. But what comes around.....

So now I, gonna have to spend time away from my Kryptonite to fix this. Just because I hate my condor not working right.

yea he has no right to come to your yard and dig a hole or anything like that... i wouldnt go as far as breaking in and breaking something. but he would know, he wasn't welcomed in my yard or house agian.

Id just carry on, if he calls the police, you can get him done. Or you could go speak to him, tell him he owes you the money for the damage.

You could get him booked for that. He was trespassing and in doing so caused damage to your property. I think you could probably sue him and win too.

It was just deep enough to completely submerge all the electronics in the car. Mess up the steering servo. I'm just gonna keep running it all day and night, just to make sure he gets my message.

Police won't do anything unless you have solid proof, other wise its just a tit for tat game that they won't listen too. If you are certain it was him, confront him politely, maybe you can settle it and get some of what you spent on repairs back.

I would consider driving it up to his front door around midnight and doing doughnuts, then tell him since he put fishing line in your back yard and dug a hole that you figured he didn't want you driving it in your yard so you're going to drive it in his.

I say keep running your nitros in YOUR backyard, within reasonable hours of course. Set up a video cam in the backyard and get the sucka on tape.

As long as there is no noise ordinance your good. Just be respectful of the time of day you drive.
Confront him and ask if he did it, then tell him he can pay for the damages and fix the hole on your yard.....if not that is just plain grounds for a good old fashioned ass kicking in my book.

Really? I gave it a proper clean with nitro fuel and got it started up ok. It was idling really high but seem to be ok now. But I lost all my needle valve settings so it needs re-tuning. And maybe a new servo.
