Newer camera problem

My mother received a camera last year for Christmas. It's a Fuji, finepix 233wp. Last time I used it was when I snapped the pics of my O.S. to post on here. The battery went dead in the middle of taking the pictures, so I charged it up, reinstalled it and finished up. The camera worked fine and was put away. I got it out a couple of weeks later and it won't turn on. It has a 1 cell lipo battery that's reading 4.2 volts. Anybody have any experience or advice on this problem? My parents don't ever buy the extended warranties or even fill out the factory warranty cards to send in. I know, silly. I should have taken care of this. Thanks as always.

That happened one time with my Olympus, and I really panicked. I thought it was toast. I removed the batteries and reinstalled them and it worked.
Probably just a bad connection to the camera.
