Yeah what is the deal with that??
All the other manufacturers give a little info and try to build up their products before they are released. At least put it on their web-site. The X-T 2 is supposed to be out this month? Still not listed on the front of their site. Neither is the Mammoth ST Pro. You have to hunt for them.
Not looking to buy either... But if I was....

I've been watching the two new engines they have. (Not close enough to know they were in stock.) The talk on their forum is that they are made by SH. They say that because XTM and SH are tied together.

I hope they are as good as the 24/7. But I'll wait.
Anybody got one on order???

yeah actually i had one on order but its here now! it looks sweat as hell. the only problem is i had to put the 247s back plate on it so it would work with my savage roto start. The stock plate that comes with the 457 will only fit the losi lst style roto start.

Anxious to hear how it runs. Going in a Savage?
Do ya have the 24/7 in it now?

Yeah id like to know how it runs as well..
Guys used to love their 24.7s wonder if this is worth trying out.

yeah I'm putting it in my savage. just got done putting the flywheel and clutches on in photo. I'm hoping it runs just a well as my 24.7 did. i will report how it runs when it is not so cold outside here (NY).

That's the same engine as the LRP Z.28R SPEC 2. It should be a realy good MT race engine. Might also be the same as the SH .28 pro.

The mach, LRP, XTM and SH engines are all made by SH, I've heard.

It would be nice to confirm some of that crap... They do look a lot alike.

I'm all for a new/cool engine, but I just don't care for composite carbs. Every one I've had (4) had a tendency to bind after a short while. My revo is the only one that doesn't, but I think that's due to how the linkage is on it. There isn't a lot of leverage putting pressure on the carb barrol from the side like the t-maxx.

On the plus side for composit carbs are, they reduce the chance of vapor-lock.

It's not an isue for me either. I guess it's more of a problem when you're in hotter environments.

SH makes a LOT of mills that are just rebadged. The GS mills that come with the RTR's are SH, the B01 B02 and the GS .25 is the same as the XTM .247 those i'm 100% on. I'm 99% sure the SH.28 is the same as the LRP .28. So it would make sense that the XTM would be the same as well.

sure did

sorry forgot to reply, i have ran the engine. it is awsome it was a little finicky at first. it sure is cold here though it probly accelerated my tuning problems. it was about 25-30f outside when i ran it. i wraped the head with some foil to keep some heat in the engine. The engine ran a whole lot better lot of crazy power. i would recomend this engine proly the same thing as the SH .28 pro
