okay guys I am new to the hobby. Went to the local track the other day with my nephew, and i think i am addicted. There was way more ppl there than what i thought there would be ( I am from a small town in eastern ky) . Since this day all i can think about or look at on the interweb has been Nitro truggys and how much i want one now....Tell me if i am going in to fast...but i should be coming in to some extra money next month and was looking at getting in to racing..but i need some advise....I have been doing a lot of reading on the Losi 8ight T 2.0 rtr....do u think this would be a good truck to start off with...I have been around motocross and 2 stroke motors all my life so i get the whole tunning thing...just want to know if it is a good truck and what upgrades i should look in to, what batt's do i need for the starter box and what charger should I get....Here is the tracks website if anyone wants to take a look...www.dixonsrcraceway.com

My best advice to you is go out to the track and get to know the racers there. These guys are going to be the best resource you can have locally. The 8ight-T is supposed to be a good truck.
