I have had electric cars and planes for years and recently bought a used 4-tec. What causes it to have lots of gas in the pipe after running? I could almost fill the tank back up half way with all that pours out of the pipe after i run it. It runs good and i have put 6~7 tanks through it but i know its not tuned right and even the youtube vids i have watched are not alot of help. Where (how many turns) should i start at?

If your having fuel run out your pipe your running rich. get you a temp gauge and get the motor running around 220 degrees you will still have oil/fuel coming out of the pipe but once its warm it should be minimal

i have been on this site a while, the cats here are the best. safety NOTE: nitro fuel is mostly methanol. if it gets on fire water will put it out. just label it so you dont put it in the fuel tank.

clockwise = lean counter clockwise = rich

water will put out nitro if you can even see its burning its almost impossible unless its dark. but i think that a fuel bottle and fuel tank is the only place your gonna wanna be putting it.

CC... I have a 4-Tech myself I hardly have any left over fuel in my pipe " just a Few drops " I check my Engine temp's after a run I am between 190-199-200 ... So I am pretty darn close to the 3.3's peak power band... Also what I find helpful to me... When I am running my 4-Tech I look to see @ about 1/4 - 1/2 throttle if I have a nice constant trail of smoke "not billowing smoke" but just a nice decent trail will let you know you have a decent tune on the engine..CC when tuning I only pretty much only touch the HSN "HI Speed Needle on top of carb" You pretty don't have to mess with the LSN too much... Any problems CC feel free to shoot me a PM msg or if you like we can exchange cell #'s too hope this help's......
