Hey guys, first post here glad to have found this site, it really seems to be a lot of knowledge to be passed around here. Well I picked up a t maxx last night, model 4910 and I am not happy with the servo response. It is very sluggish and AA's just don't cut it for the receiver batteries. I found this battery pack that comes with a charger and connectors to wire into switch and charger, at the check out I have to select which connector I need, if I am correct, to plug into the receiver I need a futaba J connector, but I dont understand what that would be for. For this to work don't I just snip the old 4 AA box out, solder a connector in and plug in the battery to run it and unplug it to charge it?

Or can I get this to charge this ? I would get an adapter and that should technically work right?
