@Theekorr Lookin' forward to seeing what you do with it. :) So far, being fairly new to crawlers, I have only had rtr's.
That's mostly because you're just lazy! 🤣

my mate is a custom airbrusher, I'm thinking of going the slighty weatherd look, as the body shell is baised on a 1984 to 2001 body, so 20 odd years old, in the UK it would have dents, scratches, missing trim and rust, I've ordered a white body, so really is a blank canvas, we didnt get much choice of colours in the UK, most are a dark blue, green or burgandy.

I wanted to build a TRX4 kit, but the website i use wanted ÂŁ697 for the kit and everything i needed to build, that was with no body, a rtr TRX4 sport was ÂŁ545, and that was with 2 batterys, lipo bag, charger and batterys for the reciever. could'nt realy say no.

I want to hide the body mounts, so my plan is to cut the seam round the bonnet ( hood ) fit some hinges and hide the front mounts in there, for the rear, I'm going to see if i can cut the boot open and do the same idea, hide them under a flase floor, I've ordered the inner fenders, the sport kits dosent come with them, i plan to seal off as much as i can on the floor, my mate has a 3d printer, so will see if he can print me a scale interior, think I'm for a Nathan Drake fella for the driver.

Why not just use larger rare earth magnets for mounting the body?

Just fancy something different, the rear body post on the sport are wee short things, so they will hide under a false floor, i want the bonnet open so i can have a master on/off switch, quick disconect for the winch and again to hide the mounts.
