Hey did you see the new Tmaxx 3.3.Extended chassis, sealed diffs, and no more opti(you will still rip your reverse out ) drive forward only,6"+ tires.Check it out Traxxas.com.:jittery:

I think they're probably trying to stay competitive. Think maybe they're building up to release a big block, hence the extended chassis?

Just to make the video for the release of the new 3.3 they probably had to use at least 6 trucks...

Seriously though, maybe they made a few improvements that will help, did I spy hex-head screws? It's about time.

Pretty nice servo saver set too. I have only owned Traxxas stuff so I can't compare but a factory big block with 1/8 drivetrain seems to be a good combo.Traxxas seems to have the power to weight ratio maxed for performance with the small block and light weight drivetrain but in turn the reliability suffers. Putting out a bashing truck without reverse seems to be a mistake though.Almost like they know the new setup does not work so instead of designing a new tranny they just band aid the problem with a forward only.Give me a three speed thats up to the task with reverse.I miss reverse!

Yeah... like they saw the savage XL and said "man... we better make the maxx longer". But, it appears they added the length to the front like the revo, which is stupid (on both). The engine is still almost on the shock tower with the header.

Still a maxx, but definitely far better than the old ones. That steering assembly should have been on the first friggen maxx. And the second... third... e-maxx... 2nd... 3rd.

I thought there would be more "BUZZ" with the news.Mabey the TMaxx is dying off like the T REX. With an 7.7 in the Cen,a 8.0 in the Associate, and a 5.? in the Savage ,and a big block ?.? in the losi it would seem Traxxas is falling behind. And a few have 3sps now also.

I would like to se a drag race shootout though, would be interesting to see.

The gas buggy looks a little rushed to the race.Whats up with 1/6 scale.Like the 1/10 scale monster truck that would now appear to be 1/8 scale.

And part prices are just getting outragious. Its almost cheaper to buy two new trucks and use one for spare parts.Probably is cheaper if you sell off the stuff you don't think you will need for backup.

Wow... I can't believe there still making different versions of the TMaxx... They really need to expand on there RC lineup a bit.. Maybe an 1/8th scale buggy, 1/5th scale offroader...etc

Traxxas needs 1/8 buggie,1/8 truggy,1/5gas,1/8 bigblock monster,1/10 small block monster/1/10 stadium thats a line up for sucess.no cutting corners put out a product for entry level and for thr pro level.:burp:
