So the seizing of the flywheel could be from a lack of breaking in. I can turn the flywheel pass the point of seizure with a little pressure by hand. Would constantly turning it possibly un-seize it, or is their something between the owb and the flywheel that could be stripped or broken that I need to check out?

I'm confused lol. Seized up to me is where you cannot move it at all. Low battery and glow plug is where your at now

I am confused too lol. It seizes after a quarter to half turn, and I have to apply pressure by hand to get it past that point, then seizes again a quarter to half turn later. the pressure from the owb and the gears in the backplate is not enough to get is past that seizure. I am not sure if that is how it is supposed to be or not. Alright, I am going to go pick up a new glow plug, and these ignitors, is their a specific one I need to look for for my model, any suggestions?

Igniters are universal for nitros I'm fairly certain you don't need one though. Just try the plug, then go from there. No use in buying what you don't need.

Everyone running Nitro should have a couple ignitors IMO. If you can afford one, get it.

Ok just stop using the work seizing bc the motor isnt seized up its just new and has a tight pinch which is a good thing you want it to be like this. My suggestion to you would be to junk the ez start and get a glow ignitor and pull start. Much more simple and no more carrying around a bulky/heavy ez start wand. Oh, and dont forget to put a new glow plug in it.
I went from ez start to pull and never looked back

Considering ita a borrowed tmaxx i wouldn't spend alot glow plug fir now.
And it is a good idea to have a backup igniter.

Ok guys, I got a new glow plug, their was also just a little bit of fuel in the motor, I got it out, the motor light is now coming on on the wand and the engine is trying to turn over, but it still wont, I am also now getting fuel in the line. Making progress but not quite their yet. I will probably end up going to a pull start but I really want to exhaust all possibilities before doing so. So now that power is getting to the engine and fuel in the line, the glow plug light is not coming on and the glow plug is new, any suggestions? Thanks again for all the help guys.

If the glow plug light isnt coming on its either a bad connection in wiring or the glow plug part of the starting wand burnt up. Its pretty common with ez start wands. Use the easy start to turn the motor over and use a glow ignitor to make the plug glow. I prefer an ignitor anyways myself bc it makes the plug constantly glow instead of just glowing when you hit the starter button

Is the motor considered turned over even if it wont do so without the wand? I have exhaust and what not, it just wont stay on.

Haha, the motor turns off while using the wand, but as soon as I let off the wand it cuts off. I am wondering, will I need to have the motor stay on without the wand in order to use the ignitor?

If the motor is trying to fire but isnt actually starting its likely your motor is flooded and there is to much fuel in the case for it to have room to combust. Take your glow plug out and flip the truck upside down and turn the motor over with the wand. This will clear out the case put the plug back in and then try to crank. dont prime it after clearing the flood either. If it wont start then try to prime and crank again.

Do us a big favor tho and read your sentences b4 you post it appears you are posting from a phone with the word mess ups and everything you will get a much better response if your sentences are complete and are able to be understood and not guessed on what they are asking or saying.

First thing to do: Replace the glow plug.
That's the first thing you need to check when the engine refuses to start. An indication of a burned out plug is no light on the wand.

Take off the air filter and drop a little fuel directly into the carb. Press the start button right away and see if it will run for a few seconds.
Let us know what it does and then we'll go to the next step.

Childresshunt, I am not submitting these messages from a phone, I am on my computer. I could have sworn that I had already established I have little to no knowledge on these, maybe that is why it was difficult to understand, as I too had difficulty understanding yall at times. Thanks for the input though buddy. I bought a hotshot 2 last night and the truck is running now. I have noticed a little difference in the speed/acceleration, I guess I will have to look more into that. I really appreciate every bodies help walking me through these issues, if not for this I would have been sending it back to Traxx and probably paid out my ass for repairs. Can't thank yall enough.
