Oh yeah, what about this guys, would it work? http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/car/item/ZS-S2113-Hitec-Zebra-Standard-Servo__7341/

Thanks, i was just wondering, because i have to work for 6h to get £30, and its hard work, but id be happy to pay anything under £20
thanks

Ok, but would the £4 one work, cuz my friend lukes servo broke and he is cheap, but its his throttle servo that broke, so, would it?

That £4 is too weak for a throttle bud, best to get something with muscle.

No point buying cheap parts where control gear is concerned, you will only keep paying out for it over and over again. In the end, that one servo that costs £30 will have paid it's way in that it will not die on ya every other day.

The vapor (more or less same buggy with a larger .28 engine) comes as stock with a 6Kg metal gear steering servo. I honestly think a 2Kg is way too low. I doubt it would even be able to turn the steering at full speed, at low speed with a lot of front wheel spin it might not be able to even straighten the steering ... and would thus burn out fairly quickly. You'd just be annoyed and be looking at replacing it in a few weeks if it burnt out or not.

I like the look of the HS645MG, but it's also a little steep for me. I'm looking at getting a decent high torque servo for the brakes.

If you don't mind waiting for 3-7 days you could go for one of these:

Paul, why wait 5-7 days and pay the same total for a non hitec servo as you would for the servo you suggest (including shipping from the u.s), as you could on a decent Hi-Tec servo that is in the uk and have it within 3 days max ? (postal option dependant).

I see your point about the ££ though..............

Registered Airmail that single servo comes to $27.88. It's Hong Kong, not US.

Granted air mail can take 2 weeks from HK, I've never tried. Their EMS service only take 3-7 days. It's $29.99 - Only worth it if you are ordering a bunch of stuff.

If it's as advertised (and I have found very little wrong with their other stuff), it's a hell of a Servo. I believe the equivalent Futaba is about $180!

HK airmail is 8 days maximum, i know, i have parts from HK on my revo, the chassis being one of em.
