I think its pretty neat. I like how you can just back the boat in. its sweet. I'm Totally Jelous.

i would go with aluminum then you can actully use the trailer to launch the boat and it would be wicked sweet to have an anodized trailer

Treated wood. Already launched with it. to make all it took was some treated wood, a couple of dowels, 1x1 treated wood for axles, the front wheels off my old nitro evador, and an eyebolt, and some stainless steel screws. I sealed the tires and wheel holes so it wouldnt take on water into the wheels, if you look in the second picture you can see i had to add 2.5 pounds to weigh the wheels down in the water to launch.
It pulls so easly, i was able to drive around the parking lot pulling it with my mini-t.

no its electric.
Twin 550, or somthing. Dual motor, dual props, with outdrives, so no rudder system, actual prop's turn.

nah, it has almost as good range as my spectrum for my tmaxx and losi. I havent range tested it since i added the new radio and recieved for it. probably when i go to the pond tommorrow. just swimming pool tests for launch testing and to see if it still runs after sitting on the shelf for 5 years.

I know this thread is about your trailer (which is pretty nice by the way), but now I'm intrigued... (it's the little things)

How long is the antenna wire coming out of the receiver? Is it cut short and soldered to the coil? I'm guessing it's 27Mhz AM? What radio/receiver are you using now? I'll be curious as to how good/bad the range is.

Since i changed my tmaxx to spectrum, i just took the crystal out of my stock reciever and put it in the reciever on the boat. (lost original remote for boat).

OOOOOOohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... there is a whip! lol

I didn't realize the coil was making contact with a plate on the chassis!

Thanks man! Sorry to steer your thread off on a hard curve!

Its cool. I really dont care. its just an internet thread, my life hasnt changed. lol. But i am having trouble retuning my tmaxx (rebuilt engine today) to idle low enough to shift into reverse. well, without it dying out.

I also had the Traxxas Villain IV, and I was going to point out that the coil by the receiver makes contact with the wire on the upper hull. It's a great setup. It should also work out for the cars except for the rollover factor.

yea so can anyone give me some advice to try n keep my tmaxx running, and let me shift into reverse. or am i better off getting a electric to do this?

keep the idle as low as possible and ALWAYS perform after-run mantenence. thats all u gotta do and you should be fine.

i know all that, this aint my first time with a nitro, but thats the problem, if i turn the idle screw an hour lean, it wont stay alive, if i turn it an hour rich, it idles at like 900-1000 rpm. damn traxxas piece of crap.

anyway, done venting:
I know i keep adding pictures, but its new to me, and BADASS (to me)
