Can't believe it's not been posted yet. Traxxas announced the Revo 3.3R today. 3.3 mill, longer chassis and option center dif and rear brake kit. Roughly figure to convert it's gonna cost you about $130. Also you can get the mill on the exchange program, $135 shipped with the exchange of your 2.5R. I'm still not real sure on how much competition it will be for truggies though. Check it out!
 
well, there goes another 500 bux. i wanted another revo anyway. glad i waited!!

oh yeah, did anybody do the math yet? 3.3cc = .20 cubic inches!!!!! O.S. watch out.......

Eh I am really happy with my Revo as of now but I might do the rear break and diffs.

Good to see traxxas really step up
 
i would be pissed if i just got a revo and then found out this came out.

Well... I wonder what the real price will be on that puppy? To bad it's the same stupid carb... Did anyone else see anything about carb specs? I didn't see anything. Curious if it has a larger inner diameter.

Do you have a link for the other stuff?

This is pretty cool. I just wonder if they would take my blown Tmaxx 2.5 in exchange for a 3.3 and 130.00 bux ;) I wonder how dirrect fit this motor will be also:ponder2: Also, know anything about the center diff on a MT? I'm thinking about doing this mod to the Revo but not sure. Just wondering how much difference it would make on driving and traction.

Ray, they will take the 2.5 for the 3.3 and your 130.00, or so it appears to be from their site. And itis a direct drop in, no mods.
 
now we have to wait and see all the .18tm vs. 3.3 comparisons. then comes the "which is better after modding" comparisons.

Ya, they said it doesn't matter how wore out the motor is etc...so I'm thinking of sending them a blown 2.5 I got laying here for a 3.3. Then install the 2.5r from the revo on to my tmaxx. It's just a thought right now...need to see how the new motor does for one. I also got a TRX .15 but not sure if it's a pro or not ponder2:

Hmm... I wonder how "intact" it has to be... I have one I got in a trade that was sorely abused. Although, half the head fins are messed up... that's kind of a bad tip off that it was rediculously abused.
 
does anyone know when the will be released for sale and whos going to have them first (the revo) i want to get one right away and then i have to get the optionial center diff and rear brakes just to top it off
