I'm on my 6th tank of fuel with my new rc8. It seems like I almost have the tune perfect but not quite. Is it normal for a new engine to not idle down when comming off a full throttle straight away. As in when I let off the throttle from a high speed run it takes a few seconds for the edgine to idle down. Also when I bring it in and let it idle it will die after like 5-8 seconds. Other than this it runs really strong if I am on the throttle. I was thinking about turning up the idle so it wont die on idle but at the same time it will not idle down after high speed runs. Any advive? Thanks

Do you have air in your fuel line? Look for gaps in the flow of fuel into the carb. Also check your carb for an air leak. If you find a air leak in the carb area you will need to seal it up. If you have air in the fuel stream you will need to check your line for a leak and/or your tank. Good luck!

It wouldn't hurt to lean out the LSN a bit if it keeps dying at idle.

I also noticed my fuel line from the tank to the carb is easily 10in, it goes all over the place. I was thinking about shorting it to see if maybe it can get the fuel easier. Maybe this can help the idle

Your LSN is a tad rich or you have linkage issue.

It was definently the LSN. After eventually tuning it a little more than 1/4 of a turn leaner it idles and runs strong! Track day tommorow, I wanna see how it performs against the other buggies:D

Also, I'd leave the fuel line as is, it will give you more lid time.
