Bahhahaha!

Look up some ramp plans for skateboard kicker ramps. There needs to be some curved transition to the ramp. Otherwise, you'll hit the bottom, preload you suspension way too quick, bottom out at the base and have no reliable launch or control.

And unless you quad is 10 lbs, it ain't jumpin' that...crushing it, yes. Jumping it, no. It's a wood palette with maybe 10 screws, 2 random pieces of your house siding and the plywood from the bed of your dad's 1986 Ford Ranger...
 
Lets face it ....it aint happening I am a carpenter by trade and I weigh less than a quad. (I think) I could crush That thing by stepping on it:hehe: unless this kid is a midget and rides a r/c quad:D

I'd put a boot to his rear for leaving that thing lie around the yard. And if that is siding, he'd be to busy painting the rest of the house to come up with b.s. stories.:angry:
 
Keep that ramp just put another piece of wood at the base of the ramp that whats I did the make that first hit less steep.

take a pic of a full grown adult UR MUM :) standing on it... thats less weight than ur quad and it can so apparently hold ur quad

OR DID U BREAK HER BRAKES ASWELL

we all made stupid things wen we were kids and swore they would work to no matter who asked ya even if ya knew it didnt
 
yeah i made a ramp similar to this one when i was about 13/14 out of some pallets and i swoe it would work, everyone was like, no no, but i tried it anyway, oh how it ended in tears!! people just have to learn the hard way sometimes!!
but this is what sites like is are for.... ADVICE!!! *cough* numpty...

people just have to learnt to take it
a lot of advice here is given by a lot of experienced people that know what there taking about
 
yeah I'm nowhere near experienced, i know it, so I'm not afraid to ask and LISTEN, most people strugle at that bit lol i dont even think he owns a quad!!

haha... do you think he has tried to hit it on his skateboard yet?? it might take that but would be very painfull
