RC Driving Style
Well it is official. I just purchased a Svage 25. Soon I will be able to join in on all the fun and excitment you all are having. I am so excited!!!!! Any tips or tricks to breaking it in, and tuning it for hardcore bashing?

Congrats Dude! That is awesome. Read up on the savage here. Lots to learn!!!

Definitly make sure that u read your owners manuly for start up and break in....for a good running engine...dont wory about hop-ups yet intill you can master driving it first!

what is the best break in for this mill.?

Idle break in doesn't break in an engine. You need to put a load on it to break in the P/S.

Congrats Bro thats cool you got a Savage I want one someday to park next to my T-Maxx and then I want to get ???????hehe

should i use the phantom break in procedure or is there another that can be recommended
??????????????

I would highly suggest using the method in the manuel, sometimes if u dont break it in right it will void the warranty. Idk its ur vhicle have fun.

first off congrats on the savage ..hope to hear about the fun your having with it soon..

as far as break in ...everyone will have an opionion about witch is best ..i did the heat cycle method if you want a link to the site where i got the instructions let me know ill send it ...it took me about a day & a half to do it right and used 3/4 gallon just for the break in ...my engine runs great but i dont think i would recomend it to most ...i think your best off to do it just as the manual describes no shortcuts no varience take your time its the most important time in your engines life
bigest thing is to always put the piston to bdc (the bottom of its stroke) imediatly after running before it cools down

yeah send me the link of the heat cycling, i am trying to determine if there are any negative affects from it. I have been surfing the web since i got off work. Send it to me so i can read it.

stupid question:
The RTR comes with the roto start unit right? The drill looking thingy

yes it does...

all you need is a glow ingiter , 20%nitro , 8 aa batterys for the radio , you say you got the 5 cell hump pack , a 7.2 volt 6 cell battery for the roto start , and you should have some extra glow plugs & spur gears on hand
