Picked up this Bolink modified 1/10 off of ebay. Seller was such a good dude. Love these old cars.

I'd love to pick one of these up one day!
These and the Eliminators were so cool! I had a poster with these cars and a bunch of Bolink bodies on it.
I wanted every single car and body on it!!!

The foams are a bit dry but it came with a set of rubbers as well. I'm searching an oval carpet series locally. Smooth asphalt is an option as well as these have minimal suspension. It's just too cool to put on a shelf.

So I picked up a BL-2S system and a shorty 2s from the LHS yesterday. Going to try a variety of pinion gears for the best result. It was funny that the kid at the LHS was born after this car was built!!!

So herein lies the problem with the oddball front suspension issues. One rear wheel lifts but the other stays planted. New parts on order.

So the first one is finished. With the BL-2s and a 2s lipo it is just nuts. Needs a lot of room to run full throttle. In fact it breaks the rears loose from half throttle. Very light trigger finger. Oh man what fun. On too the second one and btw I bought an RJ Speed sprinter this morning. It weighs in at 2.25 pounds fully dressed!

I'm going to experiment with different gearing to see if I can get it to hook-up. I have no idea on the age of the tires but I've been "stocking up" on new foams. This is gonna be a blast. Soon to be on a local starting line!
