Hey guys I work at a track in the southern part of NJ about 15 minutes from great adventure we are a new track and we specialize in nitro mostly because of our long 1400 foot lap length
but all electric trucks and buggies are welcome. Some of our classes are

Nitro monster truck .28 motor limit
Electric Monster truck. modified class
nitro stadium truck. 2.5 is allowed 1 speed only in jato's
1/8 buggy .26 motor limit
Truggy. open class includes MT with larger than .28
electric stadium. mod class
electric buggy. mod class

we race an alternating schedule saturday one week sunday the next. gates open at 10am for practice 12:00 racing starts.

Check out the tracks and website www.trax70.com . join the message board. Next race saturday July 23rd

It's about time you guy's got the website up.

I've been telling people about this track for a while now.
There are a lot of locals on this forum that will take the trip to race.

Nice to have you on the site.

EDIT:
My bad! I was given the wrong address. I was told track70, not trax.

I hear there is a big onroad track going in for next season.

Will there be a day for practice only??
I ask so I can set my buggy up right.

was with ratzo on that trip.i to was very disappointed in the track.kept on hearing all this good news about the place from 2 of my LHS.when i got out of the car i asked ratzo are we at the right place this is nothing like we were told about.i think even the hobby shop was closed we went to go in the front entrance and the doors were locked and the sign had no sundays hours on it,WHAT IS THAT ALL ABOUT?
the two good things that i saw were that there was plenty of electric around the track and the driver stand was nice and high.

thanks ratzo actually on august 13th we are having a large number of drivers come to the track for a maintenance day. Please understand that the track has no full time employees right now there are 3 people who work full time jobs trying to get this place going. I thought we were doing pretty good for the amount of time we have to work there but obviously we need some more work. we are removing all the weeds and grass
and will be leveling the track. also new jumps are going in with better slopes and landing ramps on the other side. also we are going to try to get in a tabletop and a rhythm section. Also myself and the other officials have been working very hard to get the hobbyshop stocked with the necassary parts and accessories. This has been a very hard project for us but with some help from the drivers and constructive criticism we will be able to make this a much better track. Also there are plans for other forms of racing in the future like a touring car track or boat racing area but as of now we are trying to concentrate on one thing at a time. We encourage the drivers to come back and see us in a few weeks and see the progress that we have made. I too have raced at many different tracks but Please understand that we are still in our first year
of racing and things will get better on a weekly basis. We will be updating the www.trax70.com website with pics of our progress. Thanks to all for your patience and understanding, we are trying to build a track that is competitive but fun for all ages and skill levels.

I had a party to go to on the night of the 13th.

We have been going back and forth through email.
If you would have told me that it was a track fixer upper day, I would have come with a shovel and a smile. I would have had to leave early, but it would have been an extra set of hands for a while anyway.
I'm glad you guys are putting in the effort, and I will help if need be in the future.

PSUnitro, I would give these guy's a chance to get this place going.
It has a lot of potential.
It's a great area, and the track is huge.
The guys over there seem very nice and willing to make change for the better.
I will race there when the are done.
