My buddy had one, and he loved it. Said it was one of the best trucks he'd ever had, and he has been in rc for many years now.Personally, I have no experience with the savage though, but I have read that it is a harder truck to learn on as far as drivability and tuning.

I'm going to get a savage and that is that!!! :D everyone has good things to say about them and they are very good durable trucks and now i'm in love haha

i think i'll just get the new 2011 edition with the new body. not a whole lot of price difference and i know I'm getting a reliable product and i can blame myself when things go wrong :D

more important than the car you buy, is the hobbie shop you chose. find a park or other place where guys are bashing, and ask around about hobbie shops.

Danm, you made up your mind before I could weigh in, but you made a good choice as it was going to + 1 the savage.

i read in a eariler post that you want 1/8 scale but a good 1/10 one is the hpi bullet i think they look gun and i think they are $350

yep lots of good advice. but finding a good hobby shop is very imoptant. try to find some place where guys are running rc cars, parks, ect. and ask about a good hobby shop.

nitrorcx.com always has deals goin on everything, u might find something good, thats inexpensive.
