hi all i am wanting a new nitro car i dont mind buyin 2nd hand i want it to be fast but not to worried about looks what should i look for

the more specific you can be the more help you will get. I guess you're looking for on-road since you said "car". Is that correct? How big are you wanting to go? Do you want something race ready or mainly for parking lot pickup races and parking lot bashes? What type of surface will you be driving on mostly and what is your budget? I hope you understand that I'm not trying to get smart with ya, just trying to help out so maybe you can get better help. Good luck!

hi ok its just to play about with so dont mind if its on road or off not botherd about size az long az its fast thanks

If you want an on road car to just play with I recommend you a Kyosho PureTen alpha 3 as a beginner. They have a 2,5cc engine so it goes pretty fast. If you buy them 2nd hand they are cheap as well, here in Holland they cost €100,- in a good state.

If you're just looking for straight line speed you could buy the Traxxas nitro 4-tec 3.3. Those things are stock 70mph. They handle badly in turns but they go hella fast. It comes ready to run, too, and you also get the EZ-start to start it up for you.

As far as I know, the only vehicle capable of offroading that goes that fast is the Jato 3.3, also from Traxxas. That thing is a wheelie machine from what I hear, too. Never actually owned one but I've driven my neighbor's 2.5 and it was alot of fun even though the fuel was pretty old and it was sluggish.
