Hey there, I'm just getting back into the Rc thing, sold my Revo about 1 1/2 ago and missed it so I bought a new Tmaxx 3.3. I live in Ontario Canada and was wondering about a winter break in... I was gonna wait for the warmer temps like -5C to (23F) -10C (14F). Will I still get a good break in or should I wait? Can I just run my lsn richer?

I would not do it....plain and simple it is too cold and you will very likely ruin the engine. I personally will not break an engine in any colder than about 50F. If you break it in now it may not run come summer when it is really fun. It sucks I know...I have wanted to soo bad before but managed to control myself all but once....I did it once and the engine never ran right in warm weather and if the engine ever got to around 220f it would not run at all. I did regret it....expensive mistake.

After breaking in and running a relatively new engine in temps below 30F, I'd say do it if you plan on buying another engine for the summer. But don't if you don't. Both of the engines I've dealt with when that cold burned through their pinch way early and required replacing or repinching when the temps got above 30-40F outside.

Not worth it, especially on a 3.3. You'll have a broken rod in no time. If you get lucky and it makes it a gallon or two you'll still have a junker when the weather warms up.

Nope, don't do it. Breaking it in is ALL about heat cycling and tuning. Try to do it in the cold and you're wasting your time as well as your engine.
