i just buoght a .28 to replace my .21mill, transmission was shifting great with .21
but ;)now i think I'm stuck in first, If i was stuck in second the truck would be alot faster! "not @ first but wide open"
so i adjusted the second transmission screw "bottom" screw counter clock wise to the point i dont think it will ever hit second please help this new mill has 1\2 gallon throu it if that help

If you are running really rich then your RPMs are not getting high enough to kick second in. What are your engine temps? Like you said, you may need to do a bit more adjusting on your tranny if you are getting the RPMs you need and is just not shifting.

What mill is it? You might have to give it more time to break in. And i assume its not at full tune yet...So its probably too rich still.

thanks guys i know its not quite broakin in yet. I've ran about 3/4 gallon now "following all steps" the performace is getting better and better. i dont bealive the type of mill really matters science its a shifting problem but it is an axial .28 pushing a savage 2-speed transmission!

i have figured out the problem the bigger mill was causing the slipper clutch to slip, problem fixed i guess it was ok for the .21 but not tight enough for the .28 unless sombody else think i may have somethig else going on. again thanks for all the help:D
