I just picked one up today at local hobby shop and broke it in. idk whats goin on but it seems to be really sluggish when it shifts to second gear. But what scares me is a lot of the time today it would just go full throttle for no reason like someone else was hitting the gas but i know thats not the case. Can anyone help me id hate to see my new baby go wide open into a curb or something cause it did that once today and it proved its strenght but i know its not suppuse to accelerate by itself any help???? Thank you alll

First you need a failsafe. When set up it will return your throttle to neutral in the event that you get radio interference. Also, you say you got your rig today and "broke it in". Please define broke it in. A typical break-in involves many a tank--usually six or more to do it properly.

re

well i didnt use 6 tanks i was trying to go as fast as possible on the 5th tankk oops. i thought the manual said 4 tanks so i did that for the break in.

Breaking the engine in properly is the most important thing you can do to ensure a long life, good running engine. Besides a fail safe, you should upgrade to a 5 cell, rechargeable receiver pack. They give the servos more juice and ensure the radio system works right.

re

thank you thats exactly what i did i bought a trinity 1500 5 cell hump pacK.
Is there any recomendations on a failsafe?

my truck came yesterday and i got it all ready to go. i mean I'm waitin on my fail safe and hump back but othere then that I'm good to go. i was reading and it said after tank 5 u can start to tune for performance. i did see it said to set you idle speed after u get the truck and running. i want to know if that is somthing u have to do with this truck off the bat or can it wait tell u get past the brake in?

how did u get an electric mgt? i have a nitro and cannot get it to shift gears
