so I took the truck out last night and noticed that it was not shifting into 2nd gear. I popped the cover off to see that the hi gear was all but completely stripped out. I had a replacement so I attempted to install it onsite. a friend and I both were unable to seat everything properly. It won't sit flush to line everything up. I am unable to fit the clutch? (2 halves with spring loaded screws h olding together) inside the housing it slides in when bottomed out on the shaft that slides inside it. I don't know the correct terms so that's the best I can do. What is the secret to seating everything properly?
Thanks,
Brian

The two metal rollers in the 2speed shoes should be aligned over the two flats in the cam. Everything should come together just fine if you do that.

line those up and squeeze it in? That makes sense.
Thanks
Brian
