The 1965 Shelby GT-350 is one of the most famous muscle cars ever. Tuned by Carroll Shelby for extra horsepower, improved suspension, performance-inspired body modifications, distinctive paint, and special Goodyear Blue Dot tires, the Shelby GT-350 went on to create a legendary history of success on the race track that continues today at vintage racing events around the world. Fans of the ’65 Shelby GT-350 can now own a realistic 1/10th scale replica that fits perfectly on most 200mm touring cars. We've captured every detail from the classic Shelby Mustang lines and stance down to Goodyear Blue Dot tire decals, this is the most realistic Shelby GT-350 body ever made for R/C Touring Cars!

Features

• Photorealistic die-cut premium vinyl decals include window frames, headlight, grille, tail lights and more, plus official logos.
• Clear overspray film and pre-cut vinyl window masks make painting simple and quick
• A decal instruction sheet is included for precise decal placement
• Each HPI body has dimple marks for body post drilling locations
• An optional, realistic high-downforce racing wing is provided with the body
• This is an officially licensed replica!

HPI Vintage wheels and tires (shown) are highly recommended for a realistic appearance, use 0mm offset Vintage wheels on the front and rear of this body, with 26mm Vintage tires. 190mm touring car owners can use our new 6mm offset Vintage wheels and tires to adapt this 200mm body to fit their car.

AWESOME! About time HPI started making some muscle car bodies for touring cars. I am so tired of all the ricer bodies. Looks killer with the old school rims too.

They also have a '68 Camaro body in the works. It was at the RCX show...

I've got two of the Mustang bodies coming along with the HPI retro wheels.

How bout a old REAL muscle car like a old 3 window coupe, or a T-Bucket. something along them lines would kick ass. In my opinion, theres no such thing as a "hot rod" that is newer than 1959.. Still a sweet ass car though!

Proline make a 41 Willys that is very sweet! They also have a 55 or 56 Chevy pu that is pretty sweet. After seeing this thread I'm almost thinking of selling my T-Maxx and building my a Hot Rod drag car :)

Megatech makes one that goes 0-60 in a couple seconds, I always see it in my tower catolog, and the 57' chev always catches my eye. Thatd be kinda cool, but driving in a straight line all the time doesn't sound like to much fun to me... Unless theres alot of others that had them I guess..

I would probally keep it kind of like a touring car so It still would handle good so I could race it, but make it looks as cool as possible with a Hotrod theme :)

Jesse, I think you are talking about Parma, not pro-line. Parma bodies have no wheres near the detail of the HPI bodies. They are ok, but I still think HPI makes one of the best bodies out there. I am still waiting on the quad though.

That looks awesome... I WILL be painting one of those. Thanks for the info..

No problem IB...

Not sure when they are releasing. My HPI contact says the Mustang is almost ready. I'm assuming the Camaro is not far behind. Still waiting on my Pantera body too...

I've got a set of those classic wheels already (for a third gen Camaro body I'm doing for a friend) and they look great. You HAVE to use their retro tire line too for the classic look! :D

Most definately... Is that one painted to look like a vinyl top, or is it actually molded to be a vinyl top?

Yeah I think your right they are Parma, I really like the willys body that thing is sweet!!!

Fantastic! It would be great shame to spoil that GT350 with a big hole in the windshield for cooling. My only concession would be for a twin cylinder nitro engine for that authentic flat-plane crank exhaust note!

IB...

The body is smooth on top, painted to look like a vinyl top. Could make it look like a hardtop or a convertible depending upon how you paint the A-pillars...
