hey guys, i just bought a Tmaxx and know nothing about it...

i went to start it today after charging the battery for the EZstart overnight and it barely turns over
i made sure it was getting gas and it is, but it turns over a few times very slow and then just wont do anything, it wont even move the wheels or anything when i have the remote on

help is very appreciated! and i will try to get some pictures for you guys to tell me what exact model it is!

and yes, i made sure the "on" switch was on on the truck itself

Check for a bad connection at the back of the ezstart motor. The little "L" clips that hook on to it are very weak and break easily. I had my positive clip break on me and I had similar problems until it just stopped working completely as the two pieces of clip fully separated.

If those clips are OK then check the wires from the motor to the connector for any breaks or openings in the shielding that could be grounding on the chassis.

If all that is good and you know the battery in your wand is ok, and that the wand itself is OK then I would say your starter motor needs to be replaced.

I think you flooded it. Take out the glow plug and cover the engine with a rag. Flip it over and crank the engine. It will let the excess fuel out.

i bought it used, and the motor didnt even turn over enough for it to get flooded...I've been working on motors my whole life, but nothing ever this small!

it came with two batteries so I'm going to try and charge the extra one tonight...
