I want a new engine for my tmaxx. What is the biggest engine i can stuff into it without getting a big block chassis?

i put a O.S. 21tm in my jato. it is a true bolt in on the jato, i think same for a t-max. the O.S. reated H.P. is 1.77 . i think its more than a 3.3, my jato seamed to have more power. O.S. has a good web site that has the needle settings. that is the only none traxxas i know any thing about. there might be other good engines

You need a mount, but the picco 26 or sirio s27 will fit. The sirio needs a bb pipe too, but it's discontinued anyway.

i just had my hobby shop order one. ordered on mon got it on thur. stupid fast.

i found a place with an ok price going to buy it i think. anything else i will need besides a motor mount to use it?

i was aiming towards the picco will the clutch not work or will it get destroyed

It'll work, but not for long. Might be a good idea to use a stock clutch for break-in then switch to something better.

ok i might go with a bb chassis. i met a guy who used 2 revo chassis to put on a big block and put on 4 wheel steering . i might use that idea for my tmaxx if he is willing to help me out but if not ill go with the picco. what is a good engine that fits on a bb chassis?
