My t maxx 4910 has a 3.3 on it but after dissembling it and just looking it over it looks like its not gonna last just a whole hell of alot longer piston is pretty worn and was black on top but it still has a good pinch compression is good and still starts good. but I'm gonna be getting my taxes back b4 long and was planning on just going ahead and buying a new motor for it not wanting to spend over 300, 300 is the line got some suggestions on good motors or should i just stick with the trx 3.3

I've found a ton of threads on this but they are all usually being put in a newer t maxx mine is bone stock besides some after market shocks and some upgraded servos

You could drop a picco .26 max in it but without upgrading the chassis to the extended 3.3 version and upgrading your a-arms and carriers and axles to 3.3 you will just be destroying your driveline with the picco. The 3.3 should be all you need for that chassis and you can get em off ebay brand new with no carburetor for like $85.

Thats what i needed to know this truck is just a jumping bashing truck i dont race or anything not looking for high speeds either the 3.3 pulls the front wheels off the ground just fine and i really dont wanna sink a whole lotta money into this truck. Got any opinions on the dynamite .19 mach 2 I've heard good things about them and bad i found one forum where the pull start or ezstart bind and wont turn and other people say they havnt had an issue at all with it

I have run a Picco .26 maxx engine on my #4910 tmaxx with not much trouble I converted it to single speed and reverse removal, kit cost about 12 bucks off ebay for both kits. I have not had any issues, other than I run a Big Block pipe on it. But it ran great with just a tmaxx pipe installed, just easier to tune with big block pipe. I beat my trucks pretty dang hard to. I have heard of people destroying Diff and everything elese with this engine, though guess I have been lucky, but I do maintenance my trucks alot. But a 3.3 puts plenty of power for a Tmaxx truck also. Dont know if you can fins one or not a Sirio .18 with big bore pipe will throw that Maxx around nice and be easier on the factory parts. I have run truck I run alot with the sirio .18 and love that engine. she is a screamer

High Speed Low Drag:whhooo:

I had the .19T you speak of and it was a great mill for 3 gallons then the rear crank bearing went and took the sleeve and butchered the piston as well. After research i found its common with that engine. So if you buy one make sure to replace the bearings from the start and go from there. If not just expect a short life from it due to bad bearings.

Thats prob going to be your cheapest revo body and if you get a clear one and paint it yourself its cheaper to

i do maintain my truck pretty often but id rather stick with a smaller motor and not have to worry about it how much do the sirio's run and where could i buy one I'm having trouble finding it on the net havnt looked real hard tho.

Sounds to me like i may as well spend less and use the carb off my motor now and get a trx 3.3 for like 90 bucks off ebay brand new instead of buying a dynamite and then having to spend money to replace bearings heard the dynamites tune good but I've never really had an issue tunning my 3.3 so thats not really an issue
