hey i just finished break in on my new LRP Z.28 spec 3 engine in my big block t maxx. i did it by the book but i have some issues. stock tune is: HSN 3 3/4 LSN 3 3/4. where i had it just to get it started HSN 1 1/2 LSN 2 1/2 and i had to turn the idle up a bit. so break in went well after that kept it in proper temp range all that. but once i finished and started going full throttle i leaned it out to 1 1/4 HSN setting. its a total beast runs awesome but only gets up to about 190 - 200 for temp. is this normal? also when i run wide open and back off it sounds like a honda hitting redline. and i think that may be due to the constant flow of air bubbles in my fuel line. does that sound right? and why do i have all the air bubbles anyways? its a new tank and lines. i think its going lean and revving up for a few seconds at a time when i back off cause of the air. I'm just kind of rambling hopefully someone knows what i mean. thanks alot guys!

i'd like to know some of the answeres to this too. My t-maxx 3.3 was running great at about 197 degrees f. so i leaned it out and it satted running like crap and going over 250. who knows its weird

I'm running my 3.3 around 230 degrees is that ok or should i get it cooler?

How much fuel did you run through it for your break-in? Are you running with or without a body? How much fuel is through it now? What fuel are you running?

My LRP calmed down in my AS after about a gallon. I ran 6 or 7 LST2 sized tanks (150cc+ I believe) before I really started tuning for performance. From about tank 12 to a full gallon, it just kept gaining power. I also had a hard time getting the temps up and keep them up until about tank 8. During those tanks, I put a sock on the head to help it retain heat. I didn't take the sock off until around tank 10 when the temps started climbing a bit.

i ran 5 tanks for break in, one tank for fun but i didnt really push it because of what it was doing. thats all thats on it currantly. I'm more concerned about the constant flow of air bubbles in the lines. anyone experience this? i have an ofna pipe on it. could it be I'm not getting enough pressure for the fuel tank? its a pretty big ass pipe. oh and i ran without a body on 20% top fuel.
