Subtitled, this is why I don't go to the LHS very often. :D I love my MSR, and wanted an outdoor one, nuff said.

It's not really the RTF, he was out of BNF, so he took the radio out and sold it to me as BNF. Gotta love being friends with the LHS guy. Got it bound to my 6i, and did a short test hover in the kitchen. Need to set the gear mesh properly, fix the exposed tail wires (aka the MSR fix), and get it all trimmed and set up like I want it.

Stay tuned for onboard footage

i suppose this is fixxed pitch? if you don't mind i'd like to see some videos of it flying, i'm interested in purchasing a larger helicopter for outside use. the msr is ok, but it gets rough to see when it gets a little distance and the wind effects it easy.

Spending spree eh? Nice. Get that bad boy up and flying!

Thanks Alpine. Yeah, a small spree. I'm working on it, having some tail issues out of it right now. May have got a bad one, dunno yet.

:nopics:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Here you go hamz

Yep, fixed pitch. I just wanted a relaxing outdoor heli, that i could fly on calm days. It is an MSR, only bigger with more power. I will definitely get some video of it for you, on-board too if I can find my little key chain camera.

Should give you guys an idea of size difference vs. the MSR as well

Sucks dude. I double checked my heli at the lhs to make sure it worked before walking out the door with it.

Yep, good point Alpine; you can bet I'll be test flying them all in the future before heading home.

that sucks, i hope you get it straightend out.

We'll get it all straightened out, no biggie, things happen.

Are you sure it's the heli and not the pilot? j/k I feel your pain. I have a 45 minute drive one way to my favorite LHS. And yes, I did test both of my birds before I left the shop.

You know hamz, it could be the pilot, I have felt like this a lot lately

Well, sometimes you just get lucky. My best friend came over to visit today, so he stopped by the hobby shop on the way and grabbed me a new heli ( I had already talked to the owner) and took the old one back for me. It was indeed the gyro, this thing is pretty cool. Much more power and authority than the MSR, and a lot more responsive as a result. I can't wait to get it outside. Heli cam is charging now!!
