Let my local shop mess with it today. The cranked the charger up to 5 amps and got about a 90% charge in them but they were pretty warm still when I picked them up a half hour later. I ended up just returning the charger and got a better one. Some of the safety cut off features were randomly working so I'm figuring the charger was having issues
