Never enough time

Do you guys have the same problem?

Thought I would get more done this year.
Yeah, I guess I'm going to whine...

It started out real good this spring.
I put up the electric fence around the garden and got it planted.
Permit to work on my mom's electric service.
Thought I had everything sold at the shop.
Was going to make a few bucks cutting up some scrap.
Got big plans to fix up around my place.

Garden has kicked my ass. 30-some tomato plants. Spent a lot of time just tying them up. Half of them ended up on the ground. Wanted some corn real bad, but the birds did too. Planted it for Mom and I don't think she got much out of it.
Still haven't got a breaker box in her house.
The stuff at the shop is still there.
Got a load of scrap cut, but I have to find somebody to haul it.


And now...
Got everything tore out in my kitchen. I'm down to the floor joists. Nothing on the walls. One piece of ply just laying there so we can make it to the living room.
Man this year has been busy.

Don't you just hate it when your RC's get in the way of finishing all those little projects you had planed to get done, well you know what they say, there's all ways next year, LOL!!!! good luck getting all of your projects finished...

Just not enough time in a day.
I have taken to simplifying my life. Only one new project at a time and I do it from start to finish before taking on a new one. The time I have while waiting for parts or for things to dry, etc.... Is my hobby time.

i started out good as well, i planned on making my yard look awesome this year by keeping up with all the weeds, keeping the rose bushes looking clean and it worked out for a little while then i got so busy at work that when i would get home i'd just say eff it. my peach tree i planted two years ago had alittle over 100 peaches on it though this year, i picked them yesterday, the tree was flat on the ground from all the weight even though i had it tied to another tree lol, but almost all the peaches had holes in them from little bastard bugs.

Unfortunately... yes. I do.

I have a compass in my car that doesn't work, an upper ball joint in my wifes car that needs replaced, an alignment needs done on my wifes car and it needs new tires. I also have 4 or 5 things I'd like to do at home before winter comes... I need a rainy weekend so I don't go play with my toys... lol!

Man I thought I was going to kick some butt this summer!
I had so much planned.
Just doesn't work out. Something always comes up.

Been dreading this kitchen for a long time.
Got crap scattered all over the house to fix it.
Gonna hit it hard tommorow.. I hope.
