One of the more interesting aspects to rock crawling is how varied the terrain is across the States. Here in Nevada, we have more mountains than any other state in our nation, with seeming endless rock crawling opportunists.

Just recently we stumbled across a new rock outcropping which is unlike anything we've even encountered. Here is the story about that rock:

Great article, I found it interesting, I love paleontology, so the geology goes hand in hand. Really is some cool terrain, be careful out there, that would by like sliding down a cheese grater.
